About Debbie McGinn

I have been an AVON Independent Certified Beauty Advisor/Leadership Representative for about 13 years with a 2 year stint during those years as District Sales Manager. While I learned a lot as a DSM, I prefer being an Independent Rep because, I am running my own business, I have more flexible hours, I have myself to answer to, I have really great customers, and I look forward to meeting more new people. 

Becoming a Certified Beauty Advisor really helped me to better guide my customers with their skincare/makeup purchases.  Learning about all the various skincare products’ ingredients, how they work and who they work for, gave me full knowledge of my product line.   It also gave me the confidence to pass along that information to anyone who inquires. 

As a Certified Beauty Advisor, I can help customers choose makeup that suits their skin color as well as type of skin.  I can also offer customers makeup application tips to enhance their features.

Giving the proper advice and guidance is important in building a good relationship with my customers.  It gives me great satisfaction knowing that I have helped my customers.

As a Leadership Representative, I have been able to help a wonderful group of people start their own businesses,  see them grow and be successful. 

Over the years, I have also enjoyed being a supporter of AVON Foundation and raising funds for their various causes – Breast Cancer Awareness, Show The Troops You Care, and Speak Out Against Domestic Violence.
